I have already done a few things to my 2018 Silverado and today I'm going to talk about my new upgrades! Something that's super necessary for this truck.
MY UPGRADES LIST:
1. LED REVERSE LIGHT
2. LED TURN SIGNAL LIGHT
I swapped LED bulbs on multiple exterior locations on my truck: front turn signals and reverse lights. The brightness increased dramatically and makes a huge difference in visibility.
The front turn signals take all of 10 seconds to install when you do it the easy way (open the hood and you can easily reach down to where the reverse bulb is).
The reverse lights take a little longer because you have to remove the tail light housing from the bed of the truck to change the bulb, but it only takes about 5 minutes in total.
I chose to swap out two of these exterior lights because the halogen bulbs just were not as bright as I would like them to be. I also believe that in this day and age, LED should be standard for all exterior & interior lighting for all vehicles!
Because Lasfit sells bulbs that are made specifically for vehicles, there are not adapters or housing swaps needed to improve your visibility. You simply remove the original halogen bulb and replace it with a Lasfit bulb. That's why I love them with ease of installation.
The increased visibility is important for safety, especially at night. When I am backing up at night, the brighter LED reverse bulbs help my see so much better. I also fully believe these bulbs are going to last a long time. The quality product Lasfit sells leaves me with confidence that I'm not going to have to continuously replace dead or worn out bulbs on a regular basis. I expect these bulbs to be providing their increased visibility for years to come.
I don't really pay attention to the different "styles" of LED bulbs in the market. I stick to what is recommended for my vehicle(s). As long as it appears to be a quality product, a direct and working replacement, and provides more visibility, I am going to be happy with the product.
My real-world comparison leaves me very excited about Lasfit LED products. I look forward to continuing to use Lasfit products for years to come in whichever vehicles I own.
