Spot projects a narrow, long-distance beam. Flood provides wide, close-range coverage. Combo combines distance with side illumination. Fog creates a wide, low beam for poor weather, while Driving balances forward reach and road coverage.

An amber main beam provides functional illumination and is created by adding an amber lens to the white pod light. An amber backlight is a lower-output accent light designed to enhance vehicle visibility and styling rather than illuminate the road. Lasfit 3 Inch and 5 Inch Pod Lights include amber backlights, while the 4.8 Inch model does not.

Do Lasfit Pod Light Kits Include a Wiring Harness?

Yes. Every Lasfit dual-pod light package includes a wiring harness with a switch and relay, along with mounting brackets, hardware, and the necessary connection accessories. This provides a more complete setup without requiring you to purchase a basic harness separately.

Are Lasfit LED Pod Lights Waterproof?

Lasfit 3 Inch Falcon Series Pod Lights are rated IP69K, while the 4.8 Inch and 5 Inch models are rated IP67. Their sealed aluminum housings, stainless steel hardware, and breather valves help them withstand rain, mud, dust, moisture, and demanding off-road conditions.

Can LED Pod Lights Be Used on Public Roads?

Standard Spot, Flood, Combo, Fog, and Driving Pod Lights are intended primarily for off-road, worksite, and auxiliary lighting applications. In 2026, Lasfit will introduce dedicated SAE Fog and SAE Driving 3 Inch Pod Lights with beam patterns designed for their corresponding on-road auxiliary lighting applications. Installation and use must still comply with applicable state and local laws.
