Change Headlight Turn Signal Light to LED Bulbs on 2017 2018 2019 2020 Hyundai Ioniq

Hyundai Ioniq LED Replacement List

Low Beam: Pro-HK5
(Stock halogen bulb size: H7) 60w/set, 6000lm/set, 6000k crystal white. 400% brighter than halogen. Huge improvement than the stock bulb. Perfect Beam Pattern. No dark spot, and no issues with blinding oncoming traffic. Also, it fits perfectly even allows the dust cap to tighter like factory.
Super easy installation means Pro-HK5 allow you to have a simple and fast within 10-15 minutes. No error code and no flickering. No need any extra retainer adapter or parts.
When you get your hands on Pro-HK5, you will find it so much more convenient compared to a universal H7 bulb with an adapter combination. All you need to do is remove the old halogen bulb and plug in the new Lasfit Pro-HK6 LED bulb. We made it simple, the way it should have always been.

High Beam: LAplus 9005
(Stock halogen bulb size: 9005) 9005 is a common bulb size for headlights. In this blog we will use Lasfit LAplus series 9005 to show the installation. They are built without an external driver directly plug and play. New cooling system with a unique ball-bearing fan for heat dissipation, and upgraded LED clip to ensure ultra-high luminous efficiency.

Turn Signal Light: T-1157A
(Stock halogen bulb size: 1157) 28W/bulb, 2600LM/bulb. CANBUS system can prevent 95% hyper flash and error warning. No need to add extra resistors or parts anymore. They are designed to directly plug and play. Depending on the position and function, you should choose amber for turn signal lights.

 

Hyundai Ioniq LED Replacement Process

Installation of Low Beam

Picture1: Lasfit Pro-HK5

Picture2: Use a tool to pry open the buckle.

Picture3: After prying it open, open this layer of cushioning to access the socket position of the low beam.

Picture4: Remove the halogen bulb from the housing from underneath the car due to its internal space.

Picture5: Take out the halogen bulb from above the car.

Picture6: Remove the halogen bulb from the socket.

Picture7: Use a screwdriver to remove the power plug from the socket.

Picture8: Distinguish between the positive and negative poles of the LED bulb power cord.

Picture9: After connecting the LED to the power supply, test whether the LED can light up normally.

Picture10: The adapter retainer of Pro-HK5 can be removed.

Picture12: To replace the LED lights on this car model, the adapter needs to be installed into the assembly first.

Picture13: As before, the adapter needs to be installed into the assembly from the underside of the car. Pay attention to space and safety, be careful not to get stuck or scratch.

Picture14: Confirm again the firmness of the power cord connection, and fix it with black insulation tape.

Installation of High Beam

Picture2: Cut off the power connection.

Picture3: Remove the stock halogen bulb.

Picture4: Take out the LED lamp from the packaging.

Picture5: Plug in the power.

Picture6: Insert the LED into the housing. 

 

Installation of Turn Signal Light

Picture2: Twist out the stock halogen bulb from the housing.

Picture3: After removing the halogen bulb from the socket, insert the LED bulb into the socket.

Picture4: Insert the replaced LED bulb into the housing.
