This is the story of Mehdi Gholami — a customer who’s been with us since 2018 — and how a simple turn signal question became another chapter in our journey together.


The Email That Started It All

On March 29, Mehdi reached out with a thoughtful and detailed message. He’d just installed our new-generation turn signals on his 2021 Toyota Highlander Limited Hybrid, but noticed something off: the front switchback bulbs only activated as turn signals — not as parking or daytime running lights.


As a long-time Lasfit user, he knew our quality. But he wondered: Did I get the right version for my trim?


He wasn’t frustrated — he was curious. And he kindly asked if he could exchange them for the single-color amber bulbs, like the ones he’d installed in the rear.


What stood out wasn’t just his tone — it was his loyalty. He took time to praise our shipping speed and efficiency, reminding us:


“I have been a loyal customer of your brand since 2018… I’ve always been extremely satisfied with the exceptional quality and durability of your products.”


Messages like these don’t just make our day — they fuel our mission.


The Real Issue: Not a Defect — A Difference

After reviewing his case, we realized the situation wasn’t about a faulty product or wrong shipment.


While 2017–2019 Toyota Highlanders often support dual-function front turn signals, Mehdi’s 2021 Limited Hybrid — despite being a higher trim — didn’t activate the white parking light function with our switchback bulbs. The amber turn signal still worked perfectly, but the white DRL mode didn’t engage.


Why? Because not all factory wiring setups are the same, even within the same model line.


But here’s what mattered to us:

Mehdi expected a seamless experience. He trusted us to get it right.

We didn’t debate trim levels or wiring diagrams.

And most importantly — we shipped the single-color amber bulbs at no charge, no return needed.


We didn’t have to. But for a customer like Mehdi — who’s driven with Lasfit lights for years — it wasn’t a question. It was a commitment.

On April 1, we sent the tracking link.

On April 6, Mehdi left a review that humbled us all.


In his 5-star product review, he wrote:

He even included photos — a true sign of a happy install.
