Does this dash cam support Parking Mode?
Yes. With the Hardwire Kit, sold separately, the dash cam supports Impact Detection and Time-Lapse Parking Mode. In Impact Detection Mode, the camera wakes up and records when a collision is detected. In Time-Lapse Mode, it records continuously at a lower frame rate and automatically powers off when the preset recording time or low-voltage protection threshold is reached.
What is the warranty period?
The dash cam includes a standard 18-month warranty.
Can I remotely view my vehicle with the 4G feature?
Yes. Add the 4G Cloud Box and Smart Hardwire Kit, sold separately, to access remote live view, vehicle status, photo downloads, collision alerts, and other remote features through the app.
Does it support Spanish or French?
Yes. The default language is English, but you can switch to Spanish, French, Chinese, Japanese, and other supported languages in the settings.
What accessories do I need?
For Parking Mode, you will need the Hardwire Kit. For remote 4G features, you will need the 4G Cloud Box and a compatible data plan. A 128GB high-speed microSD card is recommended for daily recording.
Can it capture license plates clearly at night?
The high-performance image sensor, HDR/WDR, and night vision technology help improve image clarity and reduce headlight glare for better nighttime recording. Results may vary depending on vehicle speed, lighting, weather, distance, and camera positioning.
Will Parking Mode drain my car battery?
When installed with the Hardwire Kit, built-in low-voltage protection automatically cuts power when the vehicle battery reaches the preset threshold, helping prevent excessive battery drain.

True 4K Front and 2K Rear Dash Cam Recording
The Z90 Max 2CH records the road ahead in smooth 4K at 30 fps and captures traffic behind your vehicle in 2K at 30 fps. The front camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX678 sensor, while the rear camera is equipped with a Sony STARVIS 2 IMX675 sensor.
These advanced image sensors help reduce noise and motion blur in low-light conditions, improving the visibility of vehicles, road signs, lane markings, and other important driving details. For smoother front-camera recording, the Z90 Max 2CH also supports 2K at 60 fps when HDR is turned off.
Actual detail and license plate visibility may vary depending on distance, vehicle speed, lighting, weather, camera angle, and installation position.
Dual HDR and AI Night Vision 2.0
Both the front and rear cameras support HDR to improve footage in challenging lighting conditions. HDR helps balance bright areas, such as headlights and streetlights, with darker areas, including unlit roads and surrounding vehicles.
Combined with AI ISP processing and AI Night Vision 2.0, this dash cam with night vision captures brighter and more detailed low-light footage without excessively washing out highlights. It is designed for drivers who frequently travel at night, on highways, in parking garages, or on poorly lit roads.
Optional 4G LTE Remote Live View and Vehicle Tracking
Add the separately sold 4G LTE Cloud Box to access selected remote features through the DDPAI app.

Wi-Fi 6 provides a local connection when you are near the vehicle. It does not replace the dash cam power cable or optional 4G LTE remote connectivity.
Built-In GPS for Route, Speed, and Location Records
The integrated quad-mode positioning system supports GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, and GLONASS.
Location, speed, route, and timestamp information can be recorded alongside the video, providing additional context when reviewing a journey or traffic incident. GPS information can also help document where and when an event occurred.
Dash Cam with 24/7 Parking Mode Protection
When connected to a compatible hardwire kit, the Z90 Max 2CH can continue monitoring your vehicle after the engine is turned off.
Two parking-monitoring modes are available:
Low-bitrate time-lapse recording: Records continuously at a reduced bitrate to help save storage space.
Collision-wake recording: Activates recording when an impact or strong vibration is detected.
A six-stage power management system monitors vehicle voltage and automatically stops drawing power when the voltage becomes too low. This helps reduce the risk of excessive battery drain during extended parking.
Parking Mode requires a compatible hardwire kit, which is sold separately.
Supercapacitor Dash Cam for Hot and Cold Weather
The Z90 Max 2CH uses a supercapacitor instead of a conventional rechargeable lithium battery. It is designed to provide reliable operation in vehicle environments ranging from -4°F to 158°F (-20°C to 70°C).
The supercapacitor supplies enough short-term power to safely save the current recording when the dash cam shuts down. It does not power the dash cam for extended recording without an external power connection.
Voice Control and ADAS Driving Alerts
Supported voice commands allow drivers to take photos or lock important video clips without reaching for the dash cam. This helps keep the driver’s hands on the wheel and attention on the road.
The Z90 Max 2CH also provides selected ADAS alerts, including:
Driver fatigue reminders
Front vehicle movement alerts
ADAS features are designed to support driver awareness only. They do not replace attentive driving, safe following distances, or proper vehicle operation.
Loop Recording and Emergency Video Lock
Both the front and rear cameras support continuous loop recording. When the microSD card becomes full, the dash cam automatically replaces the oldest unlocked files so recording can continue without manual deletion.
If the built-in G-sensor detects a collision or strong vibration, the current video is automatically locked and protected from normal loop recording. Important clips can also be manually locked using supported voice commands or app controls.
The Z90 Max 2CH supports microSD cards up to 512 GB. For stable dual-channel recording, a high-endurance microSD card is recommended. The memory card is not included.
