Step 1
Open the hood. The LED bulb is located near the outer edge of the housing. The H15 bulb is located near the middle of the housing.
Step 2
Reach in behind the stock assembly and remove the black rubber dust cap.
Step 3
Rotate the black plastic halogen bulb holder/adapter and turn counterclockwise before pulling it out of the housing.
Step 4
Reinsert the new LASFIT LED bulb into the stock housing and secure it in place.
Step 5
Put the rubber dust cap back in to place. Test the new light bulbs by turning on the lights.

Application:
HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country. Note: This usage regulation is not unique to Lasfit bulbs. All LED and HID bulbs from all other brands, regardless of marketing claims, are prohibited from street use in halogen headlights in the USA.

the golf uses an h15 bulb - not many options available. these lasfit h15s are excellent - my eyeball dyno guesstimates 2-3x the useable light output. this does make them sensitive to aiming but once aimed are fine and for high beams are vastly better than stock bulbs. almost light bar good on dark roads at night. thanks lasfit!
I purchased highs and lows for my GTI and everything was great. True plug and play. No mods and no wires needed. After a year or so, one of the bulbs started flickering. Started a claim for warranty and I must say the customer service was OUTSTANDING. Got replacement bulbs quickly, and this is the first company that has reached out to me afterwards to make sure everything was working well with the new replacements. GREAT customer service 👍 Will rate 5 stars if the bulbs last over 2-3 years!

Since one of my driving/fog lights burned out recently I decided to upgrade from original halogens to Lasfit LEDs. The improvement in brightness and visibility is ridiculously great! Frankly it was better than I ever expected. Their rep was very helpful - ensuring I had the correct LEDs and gave a few install tips (Canbus issues). I am already shopping Lasfit for upgrading my C63 AMG lighting now. Lasfit definitely delivers a quality product and provides the support to back it up.
Space was tight, especially on the driver’s side, but the socket fit was perfect. Looks great and no codes on a 2017 Golf Wolfsburg Edition. Would buy again.
