Just like everything else that I have ordered from lasfit. The quality and ease of installation was worth the price paid. The lights were very easy to mount and wire up with the included wiring harness.

2021 Jeep Gladiator

Just installed my flood lights and impressed with the amount of light output and quality of the lights fixtures. My previous sets weren’t as bright on the trails but now I’m excited to use them on night runs. I really like how I don’t need to pick amber or white output. Just snap on the covers and that’s it. I didn’t have the use the wire harness that was included because I have a switch control box. The included harness would have been great to use since it’s able to control the amber driving lights and spot lights separately. The instructions were also very detailed on how the hardware should be used to prevent incorrect installation. Now I need to see what I can add to the front to help with more light output.

2015 Toyota Highlander XLE

I mounted the pods to the round bars of my Yakima LoadWarrior using Nilight tube clamp brackets while utilizing the 1” adapters. Pairing these directly with the LASFIT brackets gives me full flexibility to adjust the vertical tilt exactly where I need it.

Because I run an Auxbeam 8-gang switch panel, I set aside the pre-made harness and built a custom setup using the included 3-pin Deutsch pigtails:

• Primary Run: On the first pod, I used heat shrink solder sleeves to extend the ground, positive, and backlight wires off the pigtail. I routed this three-wire bundle cleanly across the roof, tucked it down the windshield channel, and fed it straight into the engine bay to wire into the Auxbeam fuse panel.

• Secondary Pod: For the opposite pod, I extended its pigtail with about a foot of wire and spliced it directly into the primary harness using waterproof splice connectors.

• I wrapped all exposed wiring in braided split-wire sleeving to protect it from the elements and keep the roof setup looking clean.

The lights have two settings: a dim amber marker and a bright flood beam. The amber marker gives off a soft glow to keep the back of the truck visible without blinding anyone. When you flip on the main lights, they throw a massive, bright wall of light that instantly covers the whole area and cuts right through pitch-black darkness. The amber lenses make everything on the ground easy to see, lighting up bumps, road lines, and objects far better than standard car taillights ever could.

Definitely an upgrade! I got them mainly for looks, but I will use them occasionally. The running amber light is a nice function as I’ve got other auxiliary amber lights on my truck as well. The flood light definitely packs a punch!
