Hyundai Veloster 2019 (2012-2017) rear turn signal tail brake stop light LED bulb replacement

This blog shows you how to replace the stock oem rear turn signal light, brake light and tail light with LED bulbs on a 2019 Hyundai Veloster. These LED turn signal lights are built-in load resistor, anti hyper flash, error free, much brighter than OEM halogen bulbs, its simple installation process can save you time and make you have better upgrading experience. 

 

Hyundai Veloster LED Replacement List

Rear Turn Signal Light: T-1156A
(Stock halogen bulb size: 1156) LASFIT T series, which is specially designed for turn signals. As we know, almost all of LED lights in the market require the load resistor if installing on turn signals. The T series LED bulb is built-in load resistor, anti hyper flash, error-free.


Brake Light & Tail Light: T-1157R
(Stock halogen bulb size: 1157) 28W/bulb, 2600LM/bulb. CANBUS system can prevent 95% hyper flash and error warning. No need to add extra resistors or parts anymore. They are designed to directly plug and play. Depending on the position and function, you should choose red for brake lights and tail light.

 

Hyundai Veloster LED Replacement Process

Installation of Rear Turn Siganl Light

Picture1: Lasfit T-1156A

Picture2: Take out the tail light assembly with tools.

Picture3: Take out the tail light assembly with tools.

Picture4: Twist out 3 screws with a screw driver and a 10mm socket.

Picture5: Take out the tail light housing then we can see the brake light and turn signal light.

Picture6: The wiring harness is fixed in a separate place and needs to be released first.

Picture7: Then twist out the stock light.

Picture8: Twist out the halogen bulb from the socket.

Picture9: Lasfit's designed LED bulbs are the same size as halogen bulbs, so there won't be any installation issues.

Picture10: Put the LED bulb into the socket, twist and lock it.

Picture11: Turn on the turn signal light to test if the LED works.

Installation of brake light

Picture1: Lasfit T-1157R

Picture2: The brake light is very tight and needs to be removed with the help of tools.

Picture3: Remove the halogen brake light bulb.

Picture4: Twist out the halogen bulb.

Picture5: Plug in the LED bulb.

Picture6: Press the brake to test if the LED bulb works.

Picture7: Put the brake light back and lock it in place.

Picture8: Fix the wire in the original place.

Picture9: Reinstall the whole tail light assembly with all screws.

Installation of tail light

Picture1: Lasfit T-1157R

Picture2: Use the screw driver to pry the cover.

Picture3: Twist out the stock tail light.

Picture4: Please use a towel or a piece of cloth to take out the halogen bulb to protect your hand from the hot bulb when you try to twist out the halogen bulb.

Picture5: Plug in LED bulb and test if it works.

Picture6: Put the tail light back and lock it in place.

Picture7: Put the cover back in the place.
