Lasfit D series led brake/tail lights are coming soon Lasfit D series led brake/tail lights are coming soon

Lasfit is excited to announce the upcoming release of our brand-new D Series—a product line specifically engineered for rear turn signal, brake, and tail lights. Set to launch at the end of May, the D Series promises brighter red illumination, enhanced decoding stability, and innovative heat dissipation.

To give you an inside look, our marketing team sat down with the Lasfit product development team to discuss the inspiration behind the D Series, what makes it different, and how it addresses real-world lighting issues for drivers.

Marketing Team: We’re excited to hear that Lasfit is launching a new red LED solution for rear turn signal/brake/tail lights. What’s the story behind developing the D Series?

Product Team: We’re just as excited! The idea for the D Series actually started back in 2024, when we upgraded our T Series front turn signal lights to the T3 Series. The T3 lineup featured built-in decoders and increased power, solving many issues like hyper flash and dashboard error messages on various vehicles. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive.

However, we occasionally received reports of issues when using T3 red bulbs for brake and tail lights. Staying true to our commitment to deliver the best lighting experience, we made the decision to discontinue the T3 red bulbs and dedicate our full attention to developing a specialized red LED solution—and that’s how the D Series was born.

Marketing Team: The T3 Series has been praised for front turn signals, but the red version had some limitations. How does the D Series improve on that?

Product Team: Great question. The D Series red bulbs have made major improvements in decoding stability, brightness performance, and heat dissipation:

  • Stable Decoding
The D Series is built with consistent high-power output at 24W, minimizing the power gap between LEDs and halogen bulbs and significantly reducing dashboard errors.
  • Enhanced Brightness
Featuring a dual-chip design for distinct brake and tail light brightness, plus a top-mounted lens for a 360° soft, uniform light output.
  • Superior Heat Dissipation
Unlike the T3 Series, the D Series includes a built-in mini fan, ensuring exceptional cooling and long-term stability.

Marketing Team: Impressive upgrades! Has the D Series been tested on real vehicles?

Product Team: Absolutely. We’ve tested the D Series on a wide range of vehicles, including:

  • Trucks: Chevrolet Colorado, Ram 1500, Ford Maverick, Ford F-150, GMC Sierra
  • SUVs: Toyota 4Runner, Toyota Highlander
  • Sedans: Honda Civic

All test vehicles showed no dashboard errors or hyper flash issues.

Marketing Team: That’s great to hear. What kind of feedback have you received from users so far?

Product Team: Besides solving dashboard issues, users love the clean design and bold red brightness of the D Series bulbs. They say it adds a touch of style while increasing visibility and safety.

That wraps up our exclusive interview with the product development team. We’re thrilled to introduce the D Series to more drivers in 2025—offering a smarter, safer upgrade from outdated halogen brake and tail lights.

Just installed the combo kit and would love to see how the new tail lights look, to complete and compliment the combo kit! When will you have these ready in 3157, for 2016 F150?

Donnie Thibodeaux,

Will these new bulbs work for 2023 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid?

Joel,

I’m happy with my current red led bulbs from sylvania zevo.

But this product looks very promising. I’m also a believe these led bulbs should work extremely well that u guys develop and improve way better from T series, to T3 series, to the all new D series, it may do well using some of of the optic reflectors, for my 2015 lifted s ion xB, but with high wattage, that’s gonna give a nice glow up effect for gorgeous pure deep vibrant red led color.

And first time with an integrated cooling fan.

I can see this will cost $70 a pair, but I’d be very surprised if it maintains the same price. That’s a game changer.

Not only that, but I find this will be as high as pure high quality GTR-Lighting.l brand, but I believe Lasfit will surpass that.

Lasfit is our go to.

While it will be showin red led color, I would not mind use as a separate single amber color to see how it truly performs. And a nice deep vibrant amber color like 1500k. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

Lasfit never let us down. And that’s why I always recommend Lasfit 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼

Victor Galvan2,

Hoping it’ll work with CK and non-CK bulb sockets!

Erwin,

Would like to see how they hold up on the chevy colorado. My Lasfit bulbs have blown too many times to count. Would like something that will actually last…

Donald Lawrence ,

I would love to review the new d series light as well as purchase a set of those and foglights. For my 2015 Silverado 2500hd

Dawson Olnes,

I’m a believer in Lasfit bulbs !!!
