2019-2020 Hyundai Kona | How To Install LED Bulbs

As car enthusiasts, we know that lighting plays a crucial role in both aesthetics and functionality. However, upgrading the lighting system of your Kona car can be a challenging task due to the H7 bulb it uses. Hyundai Kona LED Replacement List

Low Forward Lighting: Pro-HK6
(Stock halogen bulb size: H7) 60w/set, 6000lm/set, 6000k crystal white. 400% brighter than halogen. Huge improvement than the stock bulb. Perfect Beam Pattern. No dark spot, and no issues with blinding oncoming traffic. Also, it fits perfectly even allows the dust cap to tighter like factory.

When you get your hands on Pro-HK6, you will find it so much more convenient compared to a universal H7 bulb with an adapter combination. All you need to do is remove the old halogen bulb and plug in the new Lasfit Pro-HK6 LED bulb. We made it simple, the way it should have always been.


Rear Turn Signal Light: T-1156A
(Stock halogen bulb size: 1156) Lasfit T series, which is specially designed for turn signals. As we know, almost all of LED lights in the market require the load resistor if installing on turn signals. The T series LED bulb is built-in load resistor, anti hyper flash, error-free.


Brake Light: L-1157R
(Stock halogen bulb size: 1157) 28W/bulb, 2600LM/bulb. CANBUS system can prevent 95% hyper flash and error warning. No need to add extra resistors or parts anymore. They are designed to directly plug and play. Upgrade function for switchback coming with the brighter mode for turn signal light and the normal mode for DRL/driving indicator.


Rear Side Marker Light & Inner Tail Light: L-T10R
(Stock halogen bulb size: 2825) 800LM/set, 6000K pure white. 3 high-power 3030 SMD LED chips, top and one on each side, much brighter than OEM halogen bulbs. Non-polarity design, no need any modification, just for plug and play installation.

Installation of Low Forward Lighting

Remove the dust cover

Remove the halogen bulb from the housing

Replace the halogen bulb with Pro-HK6

Rotate Pro-HK6 bulb to the right to ensure it is properly locked.

Put the dust over back on

Installation of Rear Turn Signal Light

Press, turn left and take out the stock bulb
Picture2: Reach the rear turn signal light from under the car, then press, turn left and take out the stock bulb.

 


Remove the halogen bulb

Press, turn right and lock it in place
Picture4: Put the T-1156A into the socket, press, turn right and lock it in place.

 


Insert the light body with the replaced LED bulb back into the car body

Installation of Brake Light and Rear Side Marker Light

Remove the tail light assembly

Remove the two halogen bulbs from the assembly

Press the LED into the socket

Insert the LED bulb assembly into the housing and secure it in place

Reinstall the assembly onto the vehicle

Installation of Inner Tail Light Bulbs

Insert the LED bulb into the socket

Put the LED bulb assembly back in place and secure it completely
