Installation & Review of T3-7443A LED Front Turn Signal Bulb on 2024 Chevrolet Colorado

Lasift Official |

Today, we’re excited to share a real experience from Josh F., a proud owner of a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. He chose our T3-7443 LED bulbs for his upgrade, and we can't wait for you to see his detailed review of the installation process and his thoughts on Lasfit products.

I have a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2, I looked into upgrading to LED bulbs for the main reason of being able to be seen better and see better. I researched different brands and came across Lasfit. I wanted to start with a single set of lights before going all in, so I started with Lasfit’s T3-7443 LEDs for the front blinkers. I chose these for the price point, technology, ease of installation and the lumens (brightness) of the bulbs.
Once I placed the order, I received it quicker than expected (a few days). Lights were packed with care and not just thrown in a box. Bulbs in a simple packaging, nothing overly fancy. Upon inspection of bulbs in the packaging, I did notice something on the tabs that at first looked like corrosion. But once taken out, it seemed to be residue from manufacturing as it came off with ease.

Install prep!
First things first: pop the hood and locate the blub socket. Pretty easy to find on the 2024 Colorado. NO TOOLS NEEDED!

Second: twist the bulb holder to get to bulb... driver side- turn down, passenger side- turn up. Gently pull/wiggle to remove bulb from socket as not to break it. The Lasfit LED is significantly larger than the stock halogen bulbs. It does make it ever so slightly inconvenient but nothing to sway someone's decision to buy these bulbs.

Now the Install: this is where the “inconvenience” happens. Being that the bulb is larger, once the bulb is placed in the socket, it will not go back in horizontally to fit in the area to twist it back into place...you will be placing it back in vertically instead.

Once LED is securely in the socket, (I always put some Bulb grease on the connection points to help prevent moisture and corrosion) TEST THE LED! The polarity on the lights matters, if the bulb does not work at first, DO NOT PANIC. Simply remove the bulb, flip 180 degrees (turn the Lasfit name upside down or right-side up) and plug it back in.
* If you are replacing it because the original stopped working and the LEDs are not working, make sure it is not the socket that is the issue.

** If you are OCD, like me, you cannot unscrew the white cap and turn it to put “Lasfit” right-side up if the polarity requires you to have it upside down.

Once tested and good to go, all that was needed was to put the bulb and socket down into area vertically- as mentioned above- then do some angling to get it into the bulb opening. Then just turn to lock it back in.

Very simple straight forward install.

Now the results ...
