HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country. Good quality of light it seems and customer service is great but these lights do not work with the merdedes e350 2009 high beams like lasfit said they would. do not buy unless you have a canbus decoder. they will flash periodically and set off the the car's light watt sensor

German cars like MB will have a more picky computer.
The computer will tell the LED bulb's power draw is lower than the stock halogen bulb, so it probably throw an error code and flash periodically.
We apologize for the inconvenience you have faced with the lights not working as expected in your vehicle.
To address this concern and provide you with a solution, we offered you a canbus resistor at no charge and updated the tracking number.

Have good color and beam pattern, but I wish they were brighter. But probably one of the better options for an H7 headlight.
Much better than the SYLVANIA SilverStar ULTRA Halogen Headlight Bulbs i had the replace every year.
One of the Lasfit bulbs was flickering. I reached out to Lasfit and they sent me a new pair.
Vision field and brightness so much improved over stock halogens. Because of the unique VW socket, you will need a socket adapter to attach the can bus decoder needed to eliminate the bulb out light on the dash. The bulbs did not seat firmly in the ones I ordered from Amazon so I needed to glue them down for easier manipulation rotating the bulb and socket adapter into the housing contacts. Can bus decoder fits in the housing and dust cap will still lock down. Very satisfied with this upgrade.
VW Passat 2008 Low beam H7 bulbs arrived today and fit as advertised. Previous purchase from CARiD fit the high beam socket but not the low beam. Thanx LASFIT! Image shows new low beam bulb on driver side.
