How to Install The Pro-G2 LED Bulb on Passat?
- Step 1: Open the hood. The stock halogen bulb is located near the outer edge of the housing. The H11 bulb is located near the middle of the stock housing.
- Step 2: Reach in behind the stock assembly and remove the rubber dust cap.
- Step 3: Rotate the grey plastic halogen H7 bulb holder/adapter and turn counterclockwise before pulling it out of the housing.
- Step 4: Reinsert the new LASFIT LED bulb into the housing and secure it in place.
- Step 5: Put the rubber dust cap back in to place. Test the new light bulbs by turning on the lights.

Seems to Be a great product. Nice and bright
The bulbs are very bright but I ran into two significant problems. First, the LEDs do not install in a 9-3 position but rather a 10-4. I had a driver flash me on a test drive. Second, these do not lock into place. One headlight would only make electrical contact at the absolute fully clockwise position and I could see these easily coming loose over time. Customer Support recommended that I replace the gasket which didn’t help as expected since the original gasket was fine and there was no difference in the second one.

We suggest you try increasing the thickness of the gasket or stacking the gaskets to enhance friction.
This adjustment should help align the LEDs in a 9-3 position and provide a more secure fit to prevent them from coming loose over time.

I am glad that I can finally drive at night. Before I put these on I did try some that were a little better than stock. That didnt work. Money down the drain. Could not see at night. I even went to the dealer and had them adjust the lights. Nothing. I put these on and finally I can see to drive!
Product came in undamaged and the bulbs were secure in the packaging. Install was simple, plug and play. The lights are bright and have not triggered any codes or check engine lights like some other aftermarket brands.
For whoever reads this please be sure once you install new lights you adjust them so youre not blinding others on the road.
VW Golf Sportwagen 2017: I have had LASFIT H7 and H15 headlights on my car since 2022. They were an easy swap install for the VW halogen bulbs! A simple twist to lock in, just like the VW Halogens. Since my VW gets all services provided by VW dealers, bulbs that don't effect warrantee's were a must! I"m 73 years old and need all the light I can get for night driving. Since I keep them on all the time the car is on, they endured 50,000+ miles and many thousands of hours of run time.
One the H7's burned out and I ordered a new pair. One of the new ones was not as bright and a different LED color hue than the other. I sent LASFIT Customer Service a message with a picture.
LASFIT's excellent customer service, promptly sent me a second set, and they are perfect. Bright and project the same color hue on a white wall, just like the original set. Great vehicle lighting at a great price with excellent Customer Service!
