For H7 bulb size equipped Mercedes Benz and Volkswagen, upgrading your factory bulbs is not a plug and play process. There are a few reasons for this.

1. H7 bulbs need a special vehicle specific adapter to get the LED bulbs locked in place. But most companies sell you a universal-fit bulb with extra universal adapter that doesn’t work well. The fitment is bad enough that we’ve gotten reports that LED bulbs will fall out of the light housing.

2. Some LED bulb brands try to avoid the entire adapter issue by suggesting you can modify your OEM bulb adapter to get the LED bulb properly installed in your light housing. While modifying the OEM bulb adapter is time consuming, difficult, challenging, and a major headache.

How to Convert Halogen to LEDs

For these custom H7 LED light bulbs, please check if the adapter is horizontal when you feel difficult to install the bulbs (check video).

Volkswagen Tiguan 2019

I bought bulbs to replace the halogen high & low beams in my 2019 Tiguan. The high beams were easy, but the low beams were incredibly finicky to get to lock back into the housing. It took several hours in total. It was just extremely difficult to get the locking mechanism to align so the bulb could be rotated into place.
They look great, nice and bright, and match the factory LED running lights very well. There is a slight flicker with the car's auto stop/start feature, but it's something I can live with.

1. These Pro-MB2-N bulbs are custom-made for the special H7 retainer clip for a 2018-2021 Volkswagen Tiguan.
If they cannot be installed, the retainer clip may be uneven and the retainer clip needs to be flattened,

2. For the slight flickering issue, this is the normal vehicle computer inspection, so you don't have to worry about it.
