What is Lasfit Custom H7 LED bulb?

Some vehicles come with unique OEM H7 halogen bulb retainers, meaning that if you choose standard H7 LED bulbs, you’ll need to purchase a special H7 retainer adapter separately to complete the installation. Some users have also reported that LED bulbs feel loose after installation in the light housing. To make DIY installations easier, Lasfit redesigned certain H7 LED bulbs, creating custom H7 LED bulbs. These feature an all-in-one design with the retainer adapter integrated into the bulb, eliminating the need for an extra adapter. As shown in the videos, this custom H7 LED bulb includes a special adapter that combines the H7 mounting plate with the retainer holder. After extensive testing on various cars and repeated analysis of light housing structures, we’ve perfected the design.

2013 VW Jetta hybrid

I had ordered led bulbs from another company for a similar price and they were completely unhelpful and a nightmare. I ordered from here and the customer service was amazing, they send the bulbs quickly which are very bright, I thought 30$ bulbs off Amazon which are half as bright. They sent me a decoder free of charge when I had an issue and are willing to help with any further issues. I feel completely supported.

2012 Volkswagen Jetta TDI

I purchased the combo package with the H7 retainer that LasFit did a great job in its design. I upgraded the high, low, and fog lights. I'll firmly admit it was a bit of a challenge at first to understand how the bulb would turn into place like the originals did. The trick is that there are what looks like two screws that have slots on each side, in each of the bulb housings. You have to get the bulb in an orientation so that the H7 connector clips is fixed so that the retainer clip won't move while holding the H7 bulb retainer. DO NOT HOLD THE BULB! HOLD the clip and make sure that the H7 clip is seated around/behind the each slot behind each screw looking connector in the headlight housing. I've now tried two manufacturers, LasFit and one I won't name. The unnamed had separate H7 clips that we difficult to hold and bent while installing, which then made them fall out and made me say more than a few bad words.

LasFit customer service was also very easy to work with and helped when needed. Sending pictures with your problem description is a GREAT help to them. It's my opinion that LasFit is the best for your led headlight upgrade. I can see at night finally!
