How To Change A LED Bulb On Your Jetta:

Step 1
Open the hood. The LED bulb is located near the center of the oem housing next to the side marker. The stock bulb is located near the inner corner of the oem housing.
Step 2
Reach in behind the light and remove the black plastic dust cap.
Step 3
Rotate the base of the old bulb 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull it straight out of the socket.
Step 4
Pull the black plastic electrical connector off the rear of the old bulb and remove the factory metal adapter/retainer from the connector.
Step 5
Push the electrical connector on to the base of the new H7 LED bulb and test the new light by turning on the lights. If the bulb doesn't light up, simply flip the plug around and reconnect.
Step 6
Insert the bulb into the socket and rotate it 1/4 turn clockwise to secure it in place. Put the rubber dust cap back in to place.

Our LED replaces halogen bulbs only. It does not replace HID or LED from factory.

Application:
HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country. 2017 vw jetta
This company is fantastic! A major improvement from my halogen bulbs. I upgraded both the low an high beams and I'm not disappointed one bit. First night driving home I seen a deer from a few hundred yards out, giving me enough time before going head on with it. If it were my old halogens, I would have seen that deer in near enough time. Customer service is excellent as well, very lenient and willing to work with you anyway possible. Only complaint I have overall is needing a canbus decoder. Does not specify every 17 jetta needs one but kind of blows waiting a week almost for the bulbs to install, then to get them installed and have to wait for canbus decoders to show up. Worth the price of the bulbs, even after having to get the canbus decoders.

These bulbs are the bomb. I have the entire set installed. Love them. The only pair that caused an error was the brake light bulbs. They were easy for me to install myself. I watched some YouTube videos if needed. The bulbs are bright and crisp. Definitely makes the car stand out. Not to mention, I definitely feel safer. My car is lit up like Las Vegas. I lock the car with the key fob a lot from in the house just to see them flash.

I have had Lasfit bulbs in my Jetta now for I wanna say close to a year now, I purchased both the high beams and low beams and fell in love with them the moment I installed them. Very simple and straight to the point installation. And lemme tell you, super bright. I ran into an issue with one of the set of beams and immediately reached out to customer support, and within 1 business day they were already replying back to me. They took care of me and take such pride in their product. 10/10 would recommend, plus if you are on regular halogen bulbs the LED's will definitely brighten things up! (Just make sure your headlights are properly adjusted. Though with Lasfit bulbs you don't have to adjust as they are set up for a plug and play)
