CC Version for: 2020 Ram 1500

Lasfit sent me this [CC Version] Wireless Car Charger Phone Holder with 15W Qi Fast Charging. I like the charging capability and had been looking at this charger & holder but hadn't purchased yet. I have previously used other holders that were secure, but I hadn't had one that had wireless charging capability as well. At first, I was skeptical because the two mounting options were either via a suction cup on the windshield, or the included air vent mount. I'm not a fan of windshield mounts for anything other than a super light dashcam, and because the weight of this phone holder, combined with the weight of my iPhone 13 Pro Max, I chose to go with the air vent mount. This holder/charger was not listed to fit my truck specifically, so this is another reason the universal air vent mount seemed the best way to go. It mounts secure and seems to handle rough road & bumps just fine, while securely holding my phone. I am thrilled with the wireless charging function, as this was a feature I really wanted and had been looking for. I see from other reviews that the Apple Car play works with this charger, but my USB and Type C connections are always on, and I do not want to have to unplug and plug in every time I get out of or in my truck to prevent battery drain. So, I use a USB connection from a 12V adapter in the top of my dash that also powers my dash cam. Now after I get to my destination, I just touch the button to release my phone, then shut off my truck, grab my phone and I'm on my way. When I get into my truck, I lust place my phone in the cradle, then start my truck. After a couple seconds the charger starts charging and the holder's jaws close securely holding my phone in place and I'm ready to go. This CC Version has a gap in the lower contact point that allows me to plug in my lightning cable when I want to access Apple Carplay features. The only negative comment I can think of is my current leather phone case was too thick to allow the phone to charge wirelessly, so right now I am using it without a protective case. I have a case coming today that is thinner, and I am hoping it will work. Aside from that... This is a very affordable wireless charger & phone holder, and works flawlessly. Thank You Lasfit for sending me this gift, but rest assured I will buy the next one in the future. It is well worth the price.
