You can purchase new OEM HID bulbs or HID ballast on the market, but they’ll be outrageously expensive. If you have the unfortunate experience of a HID ballast going out, or a HID bulb dying, then you’re looking at over $500 plus labor charges for an OEM replacement part. The aftermarket is filled with low quality HID kits that are marketed as high quality, and, supposedly, equal to OEM HID systems. I live in the Poconos / scranton pa where it’s dark, my stock hid bulbs, and other replacements were still dim. Once I upgraded to lasfit headlight led conversion, and lasfit fogs, I have zero visibility issues , the switchback turn signals are my favorite part they’re so bright and add elegance to the car.

Cord is too short
I don't understand why the cord is too short to feed through the headlight housing. Installation of these requires drilling through multiple areas of the headlight housing, whereas the prototype ones in your installation video have ample cord length. Can't wrap my head around why this would be an issue for a $250 product.

Actually, most customers can install them without a problem, if the power cable is not long enough, we have an easier way to extend the power cable by adjusting the dust cover of the ballast.

I recently bought a 2013 g37x sedan and was surprised by how dim the oem hids were, even when putting the high beams on it wasn’t much of a help. After trying numerous other companies , and cheap bulbs on Amazon and Walmart, I finally came across these and have fallen in love.
