For Volkswagen Passat, the factory dust cover could not go back on the high forward lighting lamp housing after installing the Pro series H7 LED bulb, which needs Lasfit aftermarket 75mm dust cover. Secondly, the high forward lighting comes with a resistor that may be too big to fit in the lamp housing, it needs to trim the aftermarket dust cover a bit and let the cable out. And we suggest you use zip ties to mount the resister to the vehicle frame.
If you do mind, we suggest do not purchase the high forward lighting.

How To Change A LED Bulb On Your Passat:
Step 1
Open the hood. The stock halogen bulb is located near the outer edge of the housing. The H7 bulb is located near the middle of the stock housing.
Step 2
Reach in behind the stock assembly and remove the rubber dust cap.
Step 3
Rotate the grey plastic halogen H7 bulb holder/adapter and turn counterclockwise before pulling it out of the housing.
Step 4
Reinsert the new LASFIT LED bulb into the housing and secure it in place.
Step 5
Put the rubber dust cap back in to place. Test the new light bulbs by turning on the lights.
Notice:
Our LED replaces halogen bulbs only. It does not replace HID or LED from factory.
Application:
HID and LED bulbs are street legal in the USA for Fog Light use only. Not compliant with DOT / FMVSS108 and not street legal in the USA for Headlights. Legal for off-road use in Snowmobile and ATV headlights and off-road racing use only auxiliary or forward lighting. International street legality varies by country.
