The original retainer is used to lock halogen bulb on housing socket, but the LED bulb is different from a halogen bulb, the universal adapter is very difficult to twist to lock into position.

An LED bulb is only as good as its beam pattern. High wattage alone is not sufficient for creating a great LED bulb. A great beam pattern is the single most important factor. Pro series H7 LED bulb is upgraded in instructure design, which maximize the output fluxbeam. The LED chips are perfectly positioned to hit the light housing(reflector or projector) in the correct spot. This ensures a great beam pattern with a sharp cutoff line. There’s no dark spot, and no issues with blinding oncoming traffic. The LED chips are positioned where the OEM Halogen bulbs filament is located. This is how we created such a great cutoff line.
